missing...
the good old days...
yeah, i damn missed the good ol' times when we were going around to many states for tournaments...
missed the MSSM buses which definitely breaks down everytime, confirm wan la, once tire punctured, another time stopped at balai polis, another time, broke down dono bcoz of wat & another time broke down twice because of some probs wif d engine (tink the timing belt broke)... the only trip which the bus didnt break down, was during my 1st yr, when i was only 10, we were on our way to melaka for MSSM, the bus didnt break down la, melaka was only few hours away, if break down means, dono wat 2 say ler... but thn, the bus didnt hv air-con, yikes... ahha, the following year was to perlis, dont tink it broke down, but we left in the morning & only reached perlis at nite (oh well, maybe it did break down, if not, how to explain why we took whole day to finally reach our destination when my parents reach like umpteen hours before our bus reached? i hv a terrible memory)... my parents were worried sick! ahaha... thn when i was standard 6, ahha... was in kl, so no breaking down business... nxt up, was to sabah! yea, sabah, in form 1... was cool, coz took flight there wif all of them including joanne, li peng & abu. thn in form 2, i tink we went to... err... dang, where was it? errr.... kelantan? yah, tink it was kelantan & yes, the bus broke down... & wen i was in form 3, it was to sarawak! ahhaha.... no breakin down either... thn in form 4, tink it was in penang & yea, bus broke down... finally in form 5, errr... was in terengganu & i tink it broke down too...
oh darn, i seem to b talkin non-stop bout buses & them breaking down... ahahha...
wat i seem to love bout going for tournaments is the team spirit man! i mean, whole bus of ur own team! can b noisy, can b silly, can b anything u want, anytime! ahaks...
the feeling of being on court, especially during the crucial matches, hvg ur team to support u, cheer for u, shout their lungs out just to motivate u & clap till their hands go red... wow, those feeling were... ecstatic... no, money cant buy those... even if u had a million dollars today, u cant buy tat feeling, cant buy the experience... & im so lucky, to hv actually been through it, been a part of it... even sitting outside the court cheering was superb too! u can feel the energy coming from all ur team mates... all those postivie energy, the determination... the zest! overwhelming!
sometimes... being on court, u hvta concentrate... subconciously, u know there are tones of pple supporting u from behind, from the spectator's seats, from their hearts... but when ur in court,
ur alone.
it's silent besides from the sound of ur hearting pumping.
it's only u & ur opponent.
it's only u talking to urself.
u hvta block out all the outside distractions.
u hvta concentrate.
u hvta win, point by point.
away from the court, the best moments were shared when we stayed together... in those filthy dorms... ahahha... eating together, eating anything we can get hold of, sometimes our matches end so late, tat we can only find mamak shops to eat & then we will worry if its clean or not, ahhaha... since we cant afford to hv an upset stomach the nxt day! ahahha
those late nights chatting away... after the tournament & before going back to our respective states... chatting till the wee hours in the morning, in the laundry room... ahhaha... sitting on the floor, sitting on the place tat pple wash their clothes (dono wat's that place called :P), being slept on the lap, till my leg went numb... ahahha...how silly of us, but tat was wat we did! ahahha... pretty cool... yea, wonderful memories!
though i missed out alot in my childhood... i didnt get to play much wif my frens, didnt get to do wat children do... all i had every weekend was training.... weekdays, training, after class training... ahha... & tat was before i entered the academy (academy life was another kind of experience, will talk bout tat some other time coz im alr being long winded ere *piaks*) ahhaha... but oh well, if u would let me relive my life... i would never change a thing! everything was worth it... it truly was some of the best few years on my life...
